Day 1 :
Arrival in Arusha – Gateway to Your Safari
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your Bush Paws Safaris representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha.
Arusha is the gateway to Tanzania's northern safari circuit and the perfect starting point for your adventure. Take time to relax after your journey and settle into your accommodation.
Your safari guide will provide a detailed briefing about the days ahead, including the destinations, game drives and Great Migration-focused experiences planned for your safari.

Day 2 :
Tarangire National Park – Full-Day Wildlife Adventure
After breakfast, depart Arusha and travel towards Tarangire National Park for a full day of wildlife exploration.
Tarangire is known for its spectacular baobab trees, diverse landscapes and large elephant populations. The Tarangire River provides an important water source for wildlife and creates excellent opportunities for game viewing.
Spend the day exploring the park with your experienced safari guide. Look out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, antelopes and a variety of bird species. Predator sightings may also be possible during your game drive.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your afternoon exploration.

Day 3 :
Central Serengeti – Through the Highlands
After breakfast, begin your journey towards Central Serengeti, traveling through the scenic highlands and onward into the vast Serengeti ecosystem.
As you leave the highlands behind, the landscape opens into the famous plains of the Serengeti. Along the route, your safari becomes a wildlife experience, with opportunities to spot animals along the way.
Upon reaching Central Serengeti, continue with a game drive as you explore this wildlife-rich region.
Central Serengeti is an excellent area for observing a wide variety of wildlife and is home to large numbers of herbivores and predators.

Day 4 :
Central to Northern Serengeti – Tracing the Migration
After breakfast, continue north towards Northern Serengeti, combining your transfer with game viewing along the route.
This is one of the most exciting sections of the journey as you move deeper into the Serengeti ecosystem and follow seasonal wildlife movements.
Depending on the time of year and the location of the herds, you may have opportunities to see wildebeest, zebras and other migratory animals, as well as predators following the herds.
Your guide will monitor wildlife activity and select suitable areas for game viewing along the route.

Day 5 :
Full-Day Great Migration Experience
Today is dedicated entirely to exploring Northern Serengeti, with a special focus on seasonal Great Migration river-crossing activity.
Set out early with your safari guide and explore areas where migratory herds may be moving. During the appropriate migration season, Northern Serengeti can provide opportunities to witness wildebeest and zebras gathering near river systems.
River crossings are natural wildlife events and cannot be guaranteed, but spending a full day in the area gives you more time to search for migration activity and observe the surrounding wildlife.
Beyond the migration, keep watch for lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, crocodiles and other species that inhabit Northern Serengeti.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during your full-day game drive before continuing your afternoon exploration.

Northern to Central Serengeti – Returning Through the Plains
Begin the day with a morning game drive in Northern Serengeti, taking advantage of the early hours when wildlife is often active.
Continue your journey south towards Central Serengeti, turning the transfer into another opportunity for wildlife viewing.
As you travel through the Serengeti, enjoy changing landscapes and look for wildlife along the route. Your guide will help you make the most of the journey with game-viewing stops where appropriate.

Today brings you to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Tanzania's most remarkable wildlife destinations.
Descend into the crater for a game drive across its wildlife-rich floor. The unique crater ecosystem offers opportunities to see lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and other wildlife.
Keep your eyes open for the endangered black rhino, while your guide helps you search for the iconic Big Five in this extraordinary natural setting.
After your crater experience, continue to your lodge for a relaxing evening.
