Day 1 :

Arrival in Arusha – Welcome to Tanzania

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your Bush Paws Safaris representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha.

Take the rest of the day to relax and settle into your accommodation after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you can enjoy some free time at the hotel and prepare for the exciting safari adventure ahead.

Your safari guide will brief you about the journey and answer any questions before your wildlife adventure begins.

Day 2 :

Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Land of Giants

After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive towards Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania's most beautiful wildlife destinations.

Tarangire is famous for its large elephant populations, ancient baobab trees, diverse landscapes, and the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife throughout the year.

Enjoy a guided game drive through the park as you search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, lions, and many species of birds. Your guide will help you discover the park's wildlife and explain the unique ecosystem along the way.

After your game drive, continue to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 3 :

Tarangire to Serengeti – Into the Wild

After breakfast, begin your journey towards the legendary Serengeti National Park.

The drive takes you through the beautiful landscapes of northern Tanzania, gradually changing from the Tarangire area towards the vast Serengeti ecosystem. Along the way, enjoy a transfer game drive as you continue deeper into the wilderness.

As you approach Serengeti, the landscape opens into endless grasslands where wildlife can often be spotted. Keep your camera ready as your safari adventure continues even while travelling between destinations.

Arrive at your camp in the Serengeti, where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Day 4 :

Full-Day Serengeti Safari – The Endless Plains

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring Serengeti National Park, one of Africa's most famous wildlife destinations.

After breakfast, set out with your experienced safari guide for a full-day game drive across the Serengeti's vast plains. The park is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and gazelles.

Depending on the season and location of the herds, you may also have the opportunity to witness part of the Great Migration, when millions of wildebeest and other grazing animals move across the Serengeti ecosystem.

Enjoy lunch during the safari before continuing your afternoon game drive. As the day comes to an end, return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 :

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater – Wildlife in the Crater

After breakfast, leave the Serengeti and begin your journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

The journey provides another opportunity for wildlife viewing as you travel through Tanzania's spectacular northern landscapes. Upon reaching Ngorongoro, descend into the famous Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drive.

The crater floor is home to an impressive concentration of wildlife. During your game drive, you may encounter lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas and, with luck, the endangered black rhino.

After exploring the crater, continue to your accommodation for a relaxing evening.

Lake Eyasi is known for its indigenous communities and traditional ways of life. During your cultural tour, you will have the opportunity to learn about local traditions, daily activities, hunting practices, craftsmanship, and the relationship between the communities and their natural environment.

This day offers a different perspective of Tanzania, allowing you to connect with local people and experience a side of the country beyond its famous wildlife parks.

After the cultural tour, continue to Arusha for your final overnight stay.

Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred from your hotel to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your onward journey.
