Day 1 :

Arrival in Arusha – Your Tanzania Safari Begins

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your Bush Paws Safaris representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha.

Take the rest of the day to relax after your journey and enjoy the atmosphere of Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania's famous northern safari circuit. Your safari guide will provide a briefing about the journey ahead, answer any questions, and make sure you are ready for your adventure.

If time allows, you can enjoy views of Mount Meru and experience a taste of Tanzania's warm hospitality before your safari officially begins.

Day 2 :

Arusha to Tarangire National Park – The Land of Elephants

After breakfast, depart Arusha and travel towards Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania's most scenic wildlife destinations.

Tarangire is renowned for its impressive elephant populations, ancient baobab trees, open grasslands, and the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife throughout the year. Once inside the park, enjoy a guided game drive through its diverse landscapes.

Keep your camera ready for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, antelopes, and a variety of bird species. With luck, you may also encounter some of Tanzania's famous predators.

After your game drive, continue to your lodge for a relaxing evening and enjoy dinner surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of northern Tanzania.

Day 3 :

Tarangire to Ndutu – Into the Southern Serengeti

After breakfast, depart for the Ndutu area of the Southern Serengeti, an exceptional wildlife region known for its open landscapes and seasonal concentrations of animals.

The journey takes you deeper into Tanzania's northern safari circuit, with changing scenery and opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. Upon reaching the Ndutu area, begin exploring the surrounding wilderness on a game drive.

Depending on the season, the Ndutu region can offer spectacular wildlife encounters and is particularly renowned for its connection to the Great Wildebeest Migration. You may encounter wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other wildlife.

After the day's exploration, arrive at your camp for dinner and a relaxing evening in the African wilderness.

Day 4 :

Full-Day Ndutu Safari – Wildlife at Its Best

Today is dedicated to discovering the Ndutu and Southern Serengeti area. After an early breakfast, set out with your safari guide for a full-day game drive through this remarkable wildlife region.

Ndutu is famous for its seasonal wildlife activity and expansive plains. Depending on the time of year, you may witness large concentrations of wildebeest and zebras, along with predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive. Your experienced guide will help you look for wildlife and explain the area's ecosystems, animal behavior, and seasonal movements.

Return to Misako Tented Camp in the evening after a full day of exploration.

Day 5 :

Ndutu to Ngorongoro Crater – A Wildlife-Rich Wonder

After breakfast, leave the Ndutu area and continue towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Your safari continues with a game drive inside the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater.

The crater's enclosed ecosystem provides excellent opportunities to see a wide variety of wildlife in a dramatic natural setting. As you explore the crater floor, look for elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and other wildlife. With luck, you may also have an opportunity to see the endangered black rhino.

The crater's towering walls and open grasslands create an unforgettable backdrop for photography and wildlife viewing.

After your crater experience, continue to your accommodation for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Depending on your departure arrangements, Bush Paws Safaris will transfer you to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey.

If your international flight departs later in the day, additional time in Arusha can be arranged upon request.

Your 6 Day Tanzania Safari comes to an end, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Tarangire's elephants, Ndutu's wildlife-rich plains, and the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater.
